Amore Renewables has been built by a senior leadership team with deep, first-hand experience across both the sustainability and financial services sectors.
The business is not an early-stage concept built on theory – it is the result of over a decade of operational delivery, commercial scaling, and disciplined execution across the UK energy and services market.
At its core, the Group brings together two traditionally separate disciplines: engineering-led renewable energy delivery and structured financial services. This combination allows Amore to operate differently – not simply as a supplier of products, but as a long-term partner capable of delivering scalable, compliant, and commercially sustainable solutions.

The leadership team has operated at senior levels within complex, high-volume environments, building national platforms, establishing major recognised commercial partnerships, and delivering consistent outcomes at scale. That experience is embedded into the DNA of the business, shaping a culture defined by preparation, accountability, and a relentless focus on getting things right first time.
Ben Williams brings over 20 years of experience in the sustainability and renewables sector, having operated at senior levels throughout the industry’s growth and evolution in the UK. He has played a central role in building one of the country’s largest retrofit solar PV platforms, with a particular focus on developing and scaling high-performing commercial and affiliate partnerships.
Over the course of his career, Ben has been instrumental in establishing relationships with major national brands and institutions, including British Gas, EDF Energy, E.ON, and financial institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group and Allianz (amongst others.) These partnerships have been fundamental in driving large-scale customer acquisition and delivering renewable energy solutions at volume.
In addition to his work in renewables, Ben serves as Group CEO across Amore’s financial services divisions, overseeing mortgage and life insurance operations. This dual-sector leadership enables the Group to integrate funding, protection, and energy solutions into a cohesive, scalable proposition designed for long-term growth and customer value.
Simon Coyle has been operating within the UK solar industry since 2010, at the very beginning of the modern residential PV market. Over that time, he has built one of the largest and most highly credentialled installation and delivery frameworks in the UK, specialising in residential retrofit solar PV and battery storage at scale.
His experience spans the design, construction, and operational management of national delivery platforms, with a particular focus on quality control, process discipline, and customer experience. Simon has developed and implemented resilience measures across installation networks to ensure consistent outcomes, even under high-volume conditions, culminating in a sustained first-time-fit rate of approximately 95% – a benchmark that underpins the entire Amore Renewables operating philosophy.
He has delivered complex programmes across a wide range of environments, including PLC-led initiatives, social housing portfolios, and local authority frameworks. This breadth of experience informs a structured, engineering-led approach that prioritises preparation over reaction, ensuring installations are delivered correctly, safely, and efficiently the first time.
Lewis Chamberlain is the Director of Growth and Partnerships at The Amore Group, bringing over 15 years’ experience across business development, strategic partnerships, and commercial leadership.
He has held a range of senior commercial and partner-focused roles within EDF Energy, one of the UK’s leading energy providers, progressing through multiple levels of responsibility and developing a strong track record in building high-performing partnerships, improving channel performance, and delivering sustained growth within regulated and competitive markets.
At The Amore Group, Lewis plays a key role in driving commercial expansion through the development of strategic partnerships across the Group’s renewable, insurance, and mortgage propositions. His focus is on creating scalable, long-term relationships that deliver consistent performance, aligning partner incentives with operational capability to support sustainable, controlled growth.
